Calm Is Your Superpower
/Checking in, my friends…
How are you doing?
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been feeling a bit of the collective energy that’s out there. Last night I cried. Sensitive souls such as myself, we feel the heaviness.
This is an important time to prioritize self care and spending time each day cultivating calm energy.
Here are a few ways I’m making calm my superpower this weekend:
I’m spending quiet time doing the things I love. I’m listening to relaxing music, taking salt baths, and doing a gentle yoga practice.
I’m re-reading my e-book, Calm Is Your Superpower ;) It’s got a bunch of simple ways to reduce stress. Also re-reading The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and browsing Zen Habits, one of my favorite blogs. Both have such a calming tone and wonderful ideas about how to stay centered and focused on the present moment.
I’m writing down my thoughts.
I’m sending myself Reiki.
I’m taking my dog for walks, and spending time cuddling with her.
I’m checking in with the people I love so I don’t feel isolated.
