Urban Sailor Coffee and a Walk in Sugar House Park

I kicked off this week with another adventure for Project Cozy, my current mission to romanticize my life by finding the best fall coffee drinks in Salt Lake City.

This week? A pumpkin spice latte (half sweet with oat milk, to be exact) from Urban Sailor Coffee, plus a walk around Sugar House Park—one of my absolute favorite spots in Salt Lake City.

(In case you missed it, I’ve also recently had a spicy pumpkin spice latte at Alpha Coffee, and had a scone at Cafe 140B along with a fall leaves tour up Big Cottonwood canyon.)

It was perfect weather out there and I took some time to wander by the creek, feel the sun on my face, and connect with the big, beautiful trees.

Sugar House Park will always hold a special place in my heart, because it’s one of the first parks I fell in love with when I first moved to Utah. I’ve walked my dogs many times here, practiced yoga in the grass, met with friends, and stared off at those gorgeous Wasatch Mountains many times.

Being at Sugar House Park was a great way to remember and celebrate why I love Utah so much. And I will say—this pumpkin drink was my favorite in terms of flavor so far on the Project Cozy tour! Drinking the cozy drink in a nature was also a great way to take a break from looking at the news or social media.

As we get closer to the cold months, I’m making it a priority to slow down, disconnect with the fast pace of the world, and enjoy nature.

Where will I head next? Stay tuned to find out!
