On How to Age Gracefully

I start and end my day with self-reflection, kind words and intentions. I also learned about my belief systems towards my body and how they were causing me stress. Stress is one of the worst things that ages you. Now I focus on joy and strength and playfulness. The sooner you shed all the false belief systems you carry about the mold you need to fit in and begin to truly love yourself to your soul it’ll bring a new glow and level to your life!

I use things that are good for my skin, I exfoliate, use sun protection, take care of basics, and try to have some fun! But even beyond doing those things, acceptance is the most important. I’m not trying to look younger. It’s OK if I look my age. I’m just going to be OK being me and that’s the best grace I can offer myself.

Taking better care of my health. Sleep, nutrition, exercise and meditation. It also changed my whole mindset starting in my late 20s (now approaching 37) to develop close friendships with women of all ages who have healthy boundaries and self love. It’s really fun and supportive share deep friendships with women from ages 23 to 99 (literally, my grandma is one of my best friends)!
