What does yoga mean to you?
For me, yoga is a practice of cultivating calm and peaceful energy. This practice is a tool for exploring my inner world, and letting go.
The poses provide an access point for me to become aware of the present moment, through my breath.
Inhaling, I experience the feeling of being alive and vibrant.
Exhaling, I experience the feeling of releasing negativity.
Breath by breath, I am able to create more space and openness in my body, more room for my emotions, and more openness for my spirit.
It is when we are quiet that we begin to see everything with love.
For me, yoga brings that sense of peaceful quiet.
