Food Is Beautiful (And So Are You)

Good morning, hungry readers. I hope you're having a beautiful day so far!

What have you been eating lately?

I'm realizing more and more how much it matters to fuel your body with healthy foods and pure nutrients. As my workout schedule has become highly active this summer, I find I need more food to satisfy my appetite and keep up with my metabolism.

I'm also in the middle of a detox: no alcohol, extra hydration, green clay, green juice when I can, and all natural, non-GMO foods whenever possible.

I recommend consuming natural ingredients, avoiding boxed foods as much as possible, and cooking simply. When I can, I steam veggies instead of frying them. I'm moving toward vegetarianism (and welcome your advice in the comments below on how to go "cold turkey" on meats!).

I also allow myself to indulge now and then, so that I don't feel starved. (Like the bagel and cream cheese and coffee with almond milk I'm having this morning for breakfast. Yum.)

Food is a joyful endeavor of life; it's meant to be enjoyed. Keep this in mind as part of your path toward enlightenment!
