Master the basics of your physical health: nourishment through food and water, strength training, stretching, breathing techniques and rest. If you are going through a hard time, increase the intensity of your physical training. This will help you build mental resilience, and will require you to balance the intensity with relaxation.

 

Take time every day to slow down and reflect.

Establish a consistent morning routine that sets the tone for your day. Be flexible with what you do each day but be relentless about keeping the habit—very few skipped days, no excuses.
