Boston Again

All photos by yours truly.

It. is. what. it. is.

Here I am. Boston. June 30, 2012.

Cold drinks come in new flavors, same order redefined. Cheers.

Structure. Raw structure. Work. Sleepless.

Keep going until what you have made has changed the world.

Do it again.

Exploring
   what is           nature
other humans                telling        like it is like it           could be     buy this
or at least                                           take a look at it.

night pulses its own pace
upward motion to the moon
scars written on your face broken down palace
that sailor was so drunk he could hardly stand and i hope
he made it home OK
but it's his own fault if he didn't.

picking up the pen &                      writing with it
sidewalks full of glory

stories not yet heard
                                   go forth
om namah shivaya  is what i have to share
prepare to come back

expectations are resentments waiting to happen
reflections)))                    night water bowl
sound of life
keep walking
until what you think you know
disappears

Carry the Weekend

Comic via xkcd.

Hilarious. I love it.

How do you live your yoga off the mat?

Boston (In the Raw): Day 1

All photos via my not-so-smart phone.

Boston, I just fell in love with you!

Your suave & sunny weather, your whimsical clouds floating by.

Your city streets, alive alive alive with people.

Your buildings, big and small. The streets winding through them.

Your Back Bay seafood (!). And the fact that a guy sitting at the bar was friendly enough to offer his recommendations for the best dish on the menu. No hesitation to share what he knows.

"You made the right choice coming here," he said. "This is the best seafood in Boston."

I just smiled and felt how good fried clams are with salt, lemon, a little tartar sauce.

Is there anything better than living in the moment?

We people watched, and made up stories about the cooks in the kitchen.

How one was pissed, wishing he could be anywhere else but in front of that hot flame. The bartender said something like, "Story of my life."

I felt for him. Alive in the fire, I thought, sending him a namaste.

After the food, there was a girl on the street playing the harp. Feeling the music move through her. Beauty lives in all of us.

The city here breathes. Throbs. Just is.

It is what it is.

I'm grateful.

I am.

Thank you, Boston, for being here. I walk the path.

Boston, Here I Come!

Photos by me.

This weekend I'm visiting Boston for the first time ever. I'm so excited to experience the sights & sounds, to be near the water, and to explore.

Travel is a celebration, wouldn't you agree?

Cheers, and hope you have a beautiful weekend wherever you are!

what have we to offer? what have we to give?
coins from the coffer, hope that we might live.
