night pulses its own pace

upward motion to the moon

scars written on your face broken down palace

that sailor was so drunk he could hardly stand and i hope

he made it home OK

but it's his own fault if he didn't.

picking up the pen &                      writing with it

sidewalks full of glory

stories not yet heard
